Pranab Jyoti Borkotoky (49), a leading social worker, passed away on August 11 at his Tapoban residence, Rupaisiding. He was suffering from liver ailments.
He was magazine editor while studying in Hoonlal HS School and Doomdooma College and was associated with a number of socio-cultural organizations of Hansara TE, his birth place, and Doomdooma. He leaves behind his wife, mother and a daughter. His death was widely mourned by many organizations.
