GUWAHATI: The Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) between Oil India Limited (OIL) & Numaligarh Refinery
Limited (NRL) on Friday was signed to
augment OIL's existing pumping capacity through Numaligarh Siliguri Pipeline to
increase product (Motor Spirit, High Speed Diesel and Superior Kerosene Oil)
evacuation from 1.72 MMTPA to 5.50 MMTPA.
The MoU was signed by Sandip Goswami, CGM (OIL) & M K Pegu, Head Pipeline Project (NRL) in the presence of Sailesh , Secretary, Department of Public Enterprise, Government of India, Dr M Ariz Ahmed, Principle Secretary, Department of Public Enterprise, Government of Assam and SK Barua, Managing Director, NRL, stated a press release.
