Tezpur: Sonitpur police arrested one Lakhi Boro in connection with the assault on a journalist after an FIR was lodged at the Tezpur Sadar police station.
The Sonitpur Press Club, Sonitpur Journalist Union, JAFA has condemned the attack on senior journalist and president of Journalist Federation of Assam, District Committee, Prasanta Mahanta.
