GOLAGHAT: The Golaghat Book Fair and Literature Festival organized by Vox Populi, a leading organization of Golaghat started on Saturday at Samannay Kshetra in Golaghat. In the second day of the book fair on Sunday, huge response from the public was seen. Children, adults visited the book stalls to buy their favourite books. But amidst all these there were some children who were unable to buy their favourite books due to poor economic condition of their parents. Keeping this in mind a unique initiative was taken by Hema Timbers Golaghat. The organization has appealed to such children or students who cannot afford to buy their favourite book to contact on the following mobile number -- 7002961362. Such children or students will have to visit the stall of Puthitirtha Prakashan or Shankardeva Prakashan at Golaghat Book Fair and get their favourite books which will be offered to them by Hema Timbers Golaghat free of cost. This noble initiative of Hema Timbers Golaghat is being highly appreciated by all.
