BAKSA: Journalists are eyes and ears of the administration, many times they shows the right path for us, said Deputy Commissioner of Baksa Ranjan Sharma in a function at his office chamber organized for giving away recognition cards to four journalists of the district provided by Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR). He also acknowledged gratitude to the DIPR for this effort. Superintendent of Police of Baksa District Prateek Bijoy Kumar Thube also expressed his gratitude to the journalists for playing pivotal role in this period of COVID-19. In the function, Deputy Commisioner Ranjan Sarma gave away DIPR recognition cards to Monohar Rajbongshi special correspondent of Asomiya Pratidin, Barbari, Superintendent of Police of Baksa Prteek Bijoy Kumar Thube to Anupam Talukdar, correspondent of Asomiya Pratidin, Barama, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Bothra to Nikunja Kalita correspondent of Asomiya Khabar, Mushalpur, Additional Deputy Commissioner Arun Brahma gave away the card to Kartik Das, Correspondent of Dainik Agradoot news paper of Mushalpur respectively. Along with DIPR officer Hemchandra Pathak, several journalists were present in the function.
