BISWANATH CHARIALI: To promote the mental and intellectual development of students and to remove the negative effects of depression and suicide among students, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been running a programme called 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' for the last five years. On this occasion, a painting competition was organized in Biswanath College here on Thursday among about 400 students coming from Chatiya, Biswanath, Behali and Gohpur Legislative Assembly Constituencies. The event was held comprising five subjects each. Tezpur MP Pallab Lochan Das, Inspector of Schools, Biswanath District Circle, Prabhat Das, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
