JAMUGURIHAT: After Diganta Kumar Baishya, CEO of Sonitpur Zila Parishad, tested COVID-19 positive on Saturday, sensation prevailed in Jamugurihat. CEO Baishya had attended a meeting with more than 20 employees of Naduar Development Block; Jamugurihat on July 7.
The health department collected swab sample of officers and other employees of Naduar Development Block on Saturday and instructed all concerned to go for home quarantine till the results came out.
