DEMOW: The NH-37 road in Demow of the Sivasagar district is in a pathetic condition.
From the last few days, due to incessant rain potholes have come up developed on the NH-37 road. People are facing problems travelling through this road. Due to the alleged negligence of the NHIDCL, the road is in this pathetic condition.
Due to the potholes, a truck (AS 01 JC 9577) met with an accident at Demow Madhupur on Tuesday night. The Chief Minister had instructed to fill up the potholes but they have not been filled up. Moreover, the four-lane work has also not been completed. The locals had urged the authorities concerned to repair and fill up the potholes on NH-37 road soon.
