DEMOW: In a press release, the All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU), Demow Regional Committee and Panidehing Regional Committee stated that the Brihattar Nitai-Panidehing people were facing serious problems to travel through the 9-km Jananeta Bhimbor Deori Road of Nitai-Panidehing area in Thowra Constituency of Sivasagar district. The road from Nitaipukhuri Chariali to Bamrajabari is in a pathetic condition. Activists of All Tai Ahom Students’ Union had expressed serious concern.
Big potholes become visible after a shower and the PWD Department has not taken any steps till date. They have appealed local MLA Sushanta Borgohain to look into the matter.
