People must be stakeholders of peace and development in Bodo belt: Pramod Boro

TANGLA: United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) president Pramod Boro on Monday reiterated his party's commitment of ensuring peace, prosperity, development and communal harmony among various communities of the Bodo belt.

He said that for long, bloodshed and violence had been synonymous with the BTC region. He further said that peace had returned to the Bodo belt after signing of the third Bodo accord and now it was time for progress and development in the region where people must be stakeholders and ambassadors of peace and development in the region. A number of people, including some former Bodoland Liberation Tiger (BLT) cadres, also joined UPPL on the occasion.
