TEZPUR: The Central Bureau of Communication, Guwahati, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India organised a three-day photo exhibition on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and 8 years of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan at the historic Baan Theatre on Friday. It will continue till January 8.
Tezpur MP Pallab Lochan Das inaugurated the exhibition. He visited the exhibition which displayed more than 40 panels on the unsung heroes of the Northeast and also on the schemes and initiatives of the central government in the last 8 years. Tezpur MLA Prithiraj Rabha also visited the exhibition and applauded the activities carried out by CBC. Other dignitaries Arijit Chakraborty, Deputy Director, CBC, Guwahati, Bhupen Sharma, Actor and teacher, Bhabananda Das, Vice President of Baan Theatre were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
