DEMOW: State Water Resources Minister Pijush Hazarika laid the foundation stone of Kokilamari Soniboria Bazar area dyke from Liabeel to Tengapani on Monday. The estimated amount of the scheme is Rs 8 crores and it will be funded by NABARD. Through this scheme it will be able to prevent the erosion from the river. The minister was being accompanied by Jorhat MP Topon Kumar Gogoi, Thowra MLA Sushanta Borgohain.
