Poet Arup Saikia released poem titled 'Abhinab Sankardeva'

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Poet Arup Saikia has released a poem titled Abhinab Sankardeva (Unique Sankardeva) before Sankardeva Tithi. The poem tries to highlight the valuable deeds of Srimanta Sankardeva. Majority of Assamese people know Sankardeva as a religious preacher. Very few people know about his multifaceted qualities with modern outlook. People of the new generation should understand and accept him as a modern intellectual, besides understanding his religious teachings, said the poet.
