NAGAON: On occasion of Teachers’ Day, Pragya Foundation on Tuesday felicitated over 22 prominent educationists as well as other artistes of the district at a function held at Nagaon Kiranbala High School here. The programme was chaired by Nava Kr Mahanta, president of the foundation. Local MLA Rupak Sarma and BJP district president Abhijit Nath attended the programme as the special invitees.
During the programme, the foundation felicitated noted drama activist and playwright, Krishna Mohan Sharma; noted educationist and scholar of Xatriya culture and tradition, Tilak Ch Mazumdar; Jibeswar Goswami, Prof Kalpna Hazarika Gayan, Rajkumari Philumina Angela, among others.
