time. We pray not only for Karbi Anglong and Assam but also for the entire
world that the Almighty may bless all of us with happiness and peace."
The Holy Christmas is at hand and the Christians are seen with joy and enthusiasm to welcome Christmas.
As
the holy month for Christians began from the first day of December, each year
pre-Christmas is celebrated in every nook and corner around the world from its
first week. Jesus Christ the Saviour was born on the 25th of December and this
very day, the Christians celebrate Christmas. But prior to this day,
pre-Christmas is being celebrated everywhere.
Christmas
is celebrated to mark the birth of Jesus Christ, who the Christians believe is
the Son of God. The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on
December 25th was in 336, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine.
However, there are many different traditions and theories as to why Christmas
is celebrated on December 25th.
