TEZPUR: Swarnim Vijay Varsh (SVV)-2021 is being celebrated all over India to commemorate the glorious 50 years of India victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war. The Victory Flame is travelling all across the country and arrived at HQ 04 Corps, Tezpur to commemorate the resounding victory in the 1971 war. The aim of the journey of the Victory Flame is to spread the message and create awareness of India's victory and sacrifices to all corners of the country.
Project Vartak, Tezpur of Border Roads Organization, under the guidance of DGBR and CE Project, participated in the celebrations on Thursday where the 'Victory Flame' was carried by the Project Vartak to its War Memorial. A wreath-laying ceremony was held to pay homage to all the war heroes for their ultimate sacrifice towards achieving victory in the 1971 war.
The 'Victory Flame' was handed over to the HQ 04 Corps to continue its onward journey for conduct of other commemorative activities in the Corps Zone.
