DEMOW: Under the patronage of Surakhsha Mancha Rajabari, ATTSA, Rajabari sub-branch and ACMS, Rajabari unit, in association with the people, a protest was staged in front of the Swargdew Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Specialty Hospital which is situated in Desang Rajabari near Demow on Monday, against the alleged apathy of the authorities of ONGC and Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Specialty Hospital.
The protesters shouted various slogans. The Surakhsha Mancha Rajabari, ATTSA, Rajabari sub-branch and ACMS, Rajabari unit submitted a memorandum to the Chief Executive Officer of Swargdew Sui-Ka-Pha Multi Specialty Hospital on Monday. In the memorandum they demanded that the Rajabari Tea Estate line road which connects the hospital should be declared as the main road and the work of the main road should be started at the earliest; people of Rajabari area should be appointed in 80 per cent of the fourth grade posts and in 30 per cent of other posts; the labourers of the Rajabari Tea Estate should be given concession of 50 per cent; three persons of the Rajabari area should be included in the governing body of the hospital at the earliest and the authority of the hospital and administration should call for a discussion within 10 days.
