Python rescued in Tezpur by wildlife activist Saurab Borkataki

Tezpur: A 14-foot long Indian rock python, weighing over 42 kg, was rescued from the Bam Parbatia area in Tezpur on Saturday by Saurab Borkataki, wildlife activist along with the forest personnel of Tezpur Sadar Range under Sonitpur West Forest division. The Sadar Range officials released the python in Jiabhoroli River, Balipara Reserve Forest in Sonitpur district on Sunday morning.
