BOKO: The Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) Chief Executive Member Tankeswar Rabha visited remote villages of Kamrup district under RHAC area on Thursday. During his visits, Rabha inaugurated a school building at Kulshi Janajati High School and the Kochpara Youth Club's boundary wall to protect the area.
In Rani village he inaugurated a passengers' waiting shed and Rani Anchalik Mahila Committee's office. Vice-president of RHAC, Ramakanta Rabha, executive members Aditya Rabha and Sumit Rabha, and many leaders of RHAC were also present during the programme.
RHAC CEM Tankeswar Rabha also visited Shri Shri Madanmohan Matiphuta Devalaya, which was established in the year 1634 at Rani Bardowa village. The Devalaya is run by 109 tribal villages. CEM Rabha said that RHAC would provide Rs 20 lakh from the 2020-21 financial year for reconstruction of the Devalaya buildings. After that, Rabha met local women at Rani village and discussed various problems and ways to develop the women economically.
