Rangia Police arrested one person with Rs 1.1 lakhs cash and other documents

RANGIA: Rangia Police headed by OC Anil Moran and TSI Hemendra Sinha apprehended Mozammil Ali of village Bahbari near Kumarikata in Baksa District on Wednesday.

A cash Rs 1.1 lakhs, three ATM cards, Voter ID, Adhar Card and other documents were recovered from his house. According to OC Anil Moran, Mozammil Ali lifted several cash boxes of several business establishments of Rangia Town during the Lockdown. On July 18, a businessman of Rangia Town Mahesh Sarma filed an FIR regarding the lifting of his cash Box from his shop breaking the Lock. Police checked the CC Camera footage and started operation. Acting on a tip-off police apprehended the main culprit and recovered the cash including the cash box. During interrogation, the culprit confessed everything. Police registered ? case in Rangia PS. Interrogation is on for further investigation.
