Rare species of Hornbill rescued in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: A rare species of Hornbill was rescued on Monday in Uriamghat under the Sarupathar sub division in the district of Golaghat.

The rare species was found lying on the ground in the garden of a local villager’s house in Mugapara village of Uriamghat. Later the local people handed over the hornbill to the Naojan Zonal Forest Department.
