LAKHIMPUR: Retired headmaster of Heraipowa Nepali LP School under Dhakuakhana subdivision of Lakhimpur district, Bolin Borah breathed his last at around 8.20pm on Thursday at his residence. Borah was the permanent resident of Nemutengani village and he died due to old age ailments. He was 69.
Borah got retirement from the school in 2014 and involved himself in social works for the betterment of the locality. His demise has cast a pall of gloom in the school. The alumni of the school, School Management and Development Committee, local public, institutions and organizations expressed condolence at his demise and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. They also extended their sympathy to the bereaved family. He is survived by his wife, a son and a host of relatives.
