BARPETA: Six persons were caught, including a woman, in the Rinima Begum murder case. Police investigation is going on.
Barpeta Police nabbed three persons, including a woman, from Banbariya, Bhella, the birthplace of Rinima Begum. They are Jakir Ali, junior assistant, BDK High Madrassa, Ajanur Ali alias Tira Ali and Munmun Begum. Munmun Begum is the wife of Harun Ali, who is the elder brother of Rinima Begum.
On the other hand, during the operation of police at Banbaroya village, Bhella, one Bapan Ali was absconding but later he surrendered at Barpeta Sadar police station. A case was already registered U/ S 341/302, 338/2022 IPC against Dr Mokdom Ali and Abdur Rahman alias Jumma who were produced at Barpeta court and both of them were taken under police remand for 10 days.
