GOSSAIGAON: The road project from Srirampur to Kachugaon passing through Simultapu, Telepara, Gossaigaon and Gurufella is progressing very fast and the project is heading towards completion in a few months.
It has been learnt that high-mast lights are being installed in market areas of Gossaigaon and other places provided by NHAI for the safety of passengers and commuters. As the construction is on in full swing, people have been advised to go slow and watch out for the road signs to avoid accidents and inconvenience to others. The beautification of the work along with retro reflective painting and road markings to improve the road visuals of highways are being done by Simplex Infrastructure Limited.
The work is being monitored by Geodesigns and Research Pvt Ltd. (Gujarat) which assumed consultancy services in August 2022 and has achieved remarkable progress by completing 4 bridges in six months. There are another 4 minor bridges to be completed and one major bridge which is 50 per cent completed. The overall project is likely to be completed by April 2023.
