Royal Bengal Tiger Attacks Minor In Assam's Darrang District

Guwahati: A Royal Bengal tiger attacked a 14-year-old minor boy in Assam's Darrang district on Sunday morning.

According to reports, the event occurred Dalgaon area as the minor child went to the fields for his regular work, where suddenly the tiger attacked and left him grievously injured.

The victim identified as Imran Farhad, a class 8 students.

Locals rushed him to the Mangaldai Civil Hospital in the meantime, but he was eventually referred to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

For the past few days, the tiger has terrorized the Dalgaon region. Forest officials have attempted to quieten the tiger but have so far been unsuccessful.
