Samadrishti Kshamata Vikas Evam Anusandhan Mandal starts mobile eye clinic in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: The Samadrishti Kshamata Vikas Evam Anusandhan Mandal (SAKSHAM) Dibrugarh unit has launched a technically well-equipped mobile eye clinic in collaboration with Dristi Netralaya for treating various types of eye ailments.

The mobile eye clinic is already providing service in different inaccessible areas of the Dibrugarh district as well as in the adjoining districts. It will also seek to facilitate relationships with several government departments and corporate organizations for helping specially-abled persons.

SAKSHAM, Uttar Asom Prant, an outfit of a national charitable organization, has set up a Dibyang Sewa Kendra in Dibrugarh for helping Diyangs. The Sewa Kendra has been conceived to assist the specially-abled persons in multiple ways and it seeks to work towards empowerment of 21 types of diyangs, as identified by the Government of India.
