BARPETA: Mahidul Islam of Naligaon under Sarthebari in Barpeta, who is a degree sixth semester student of MC College, and Samir Ali of no. 10 block, Mohan Bazar, Kawoimari under Sarthebari police station in the Barpeta district were caught by the police of Alambaag police station, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
According to report, Mahidul was alleegdly involved in duping an amount of Rs 1.5 lakh from a woman from Uttar Pradesh through cybercrime. Mahidul has been continuing his cybercrime activities from his college hostel in Barpeta
