DHUBRI: A self-assessment programme 'Assess Your Driving' for driving awareness was conducted by 48 BN CRPF in the PC Barua field in Dhubri on Wednesday.
The main aim of this programme was to create awareness among the general public about traffic rules to reduce accidents and traffic congestion. Assistant commandant of 48 BN CRPF, Anil Kumar, while addressing media persons here, said that the main aim of this programme was to improve the relationship with the public along with generating awareness about driving.
Dhubri Deputy Commissioner, Anbamuthan MP, Dhubri Superintendent of Police, Abhijit Gaurav Dilip and Dhubri ADC, Dhrubajyoti Das, along with other officers, attended the programme. Nearly 55 drivers took part in the programme and assessed their driving as per the guidelines laid down.
