Series of activities for cleaning and disposal matters conducted in Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Dibrugarh

The main aim is to create a good work environment and work efficiently for the greater interest of delivering good services to public.

DIBRUGARH: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Dibrugarh of Assam Agricultural University Jorhat located at Kordoibam of Lahoal Development Block conducted a series of activities for cleaning and disposal of pending matters under the government of India's call for Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters during the period from October 2 to October 31. The main aim is to create a good work environment and work efficiently for the greater interest of delivering good services to public.

K V K Dibrugarh under the direction of Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute(ATARI), Guwahati office of ICARI New Delhi completed several drives for cleaning of its office campus, outdoor premises (community hall, Naamghar etc), disposal of redundant scrap materials and obsolete items lying in its office premises.

All the scientists and staff of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra Dibrugarh under the guidance of the Senior Scientist and Head, Dr.Diganta Sharmah are putting their collective efforts to create a conducive working environment for enhancing better work efficiency giving due emphasis on reducing unnecessary paper works and improvement of its record management system. Kendra. also giving special emphasis to keep its office premises attractive and model technological demonstration centre on a continuous basis for the greater interest of motivating and sensitizing our farming community. This will ultimately pave the way for attracting and retaining our rural youth in agriculture capable of generating respectable farm income. The scientists of the Kendra who are actively associated with the implementation of this special campaign 2.0 are Hemchandra Saikia, Dr.Sudeshna Baruah, Chayanika Thakuria, Dr.Supriya Sonowal, Dr.Sanghamitra Sarma and programming assistants Dr.Sangeeta Bora Saikia, K.B.Chetri , Santanu Paul and other staff.
