NAGAON: In connection with the mysterious death of SI Junmoni Rabha, the investigative agency CBI on Saturday quizzed Leena Doley, the then Superintendent of Police, Nagaon for several hours at Nagaon circuit house. Following the recovery of the missing mobile phones of SI Junmoni Rabha from her personal vehicle on Wednesday, CBI summoned one after another then senior cops of Lakhimpur as well as Nagaon DEF during the last couple of days and interrogated them accordingly in connection with the mysterious death of the lady sub inspector.
Sources claimed that as per directive of CBI, Leena Doley who has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Hailakandi district arrived at Nagaon circuit house on Saturday morning. She was being interrogated till evening by CBI team here at Nagaon circuit house and also recorded her statement again.
Sumitra Rabha, the mother of SI Junmoni Rabha filed a case in Jakhalabandha PS soon after the mysterious death of the lady sub inspector in which the bereaved mother mentioned that it was not a road mishap rather a pre-planned murder in cold blood. Besides, the bereaved mother also mentioned the name of the Nagaon SP Leena Doley along with some other senior police officials of Nagaon DEF in her FIR.
