NAGAON: In connection with the mysterious death of SI Junmoni Rabha, the investigating team from Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) rushed to Nagoan Circuit House on Friday again and summoned the PSO as well as other security personnel of former Superintendent of Police Leena Doley.
During the day, the investigation agency quizzed several security personnel one by one for long and also recorded their statements separately, sources said. The central investigative agency’s team earlier camped at Nagaon circuit house for over a month and carried out several rounds of investigation during which the officials of the agency quizzed several police officersm including then OC, Nagaon PS Manoj Rajbangshi, OC Dhing PS Raja Irshad, SI Abhajyoti Rabha, etc and other police personnel in connection with the mysterious death of SI Junmoni Rabha.
Besides, the technical experts from the central agency also examined computer sets of Morikolong outpost as well as CCTV footages recorded at Haibargaon Outpost. The officials from the agency also visited Jakhalabandha PS and the spot of the road mishap in which SI Junmoni Rabha was found dead inside her personal car and examined repeatedly the container truck that collided head on with SI Junmoni Rabha’s car on that fatal night.
