DEMOW: The local people had submitted an application to Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar district on Thursday regarding repairing of Demow-Dehing road. In the application they stated that in Sivasagar district under 107 No Thowra Constituency in Demow-Dehing road, a couple of potholes have appeared. The pipe culvert in Sukanpukhuri is also in a poor condition for which the locals are facing serious problems and couple of accidents took place. Through the application the people urged the concerned authority to repair the potholes. A copy of the application was submitted to the MLA of 107 No Thowra Constituency, Assistant Executive Engineer of PWD Department, Demow sub division on Thursday.
