Six-day training programme on ‘Employability & Soft Skills’ concludes in Barpeta

BARPETA: Naandi Foundation, a Hyderabad-based all-India organization, organized a six-day training programme on ‘Employability and Soft Skills’ at Barpeta Girls’ College from September 11 to 16 in collaboration with the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of the college and ‘Enajori’, a socio-cultural organisation at Barpeta.

The training programme, aimed at training the final-year undergraduate and postgraduate female students across the country on employability, was organized under ‘Mahindra Pride Classroom’, which is a flagship corporate social responsibility livelihood programme of the Mahindra group. It was organized under the supervision of Dr. Abhijeet Borah, Assistant Professor in the Department of Assamese, and Rajesh Kumar Das, Librarian of the college, and was attended by 43 students of the college. The programme was attended by Sandip Gogoi, the chief trainer, on behalf of the Naandi Foundation. At the end of the programme, certificates were distributed among the participants in the presence of Barindra Bhuyan, president of the Governing Body, Dr. Birinchi Kumar Das, principal of the college, and members of ‘Enajori’.
