MANGALDAI: Synchronizing with the hosting of the ‘Skill Convocation Ceremony’ by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India at the AICTE Auditorium in New Delhi recently, ‘Jan Shikshan Sansthan’ (JSS) Darrang also organized a Skill Convocation Ceremony at Youth Club hall, Mangaldai.
A number of invited guests including Assistant Director of Sericulture JC Talukdar, secretary of Darrang Zila Mahila Samiti Renu Devi, Director of JSS Darrang Sheikh Mohammad Amin, both the members of the Board Management, JSS Lina Baruah and Dipak Borah took part in the convocation besides the participation of a total of 600 participants.
The ceremony provided a platform for the resource persons to share their insights and experiences on skill development. Their speeches resonated with the importance of skill enhancement and the role it plays in empowering individuals and fostering growth in society.
Subsequently, the ceremony took an artistic turn with an array of cultural programme that captivated all participants. The vibrant performances added a touch of cultural richness to the event, making it a memorable occasion for everyone.
The highlight of the event was the recognition of successful beneficiaries from Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Darrang, and pass out candidates from the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0. They were honoured with certificates, a testament to their dedication and commitment to skill development.
