SLPRB's guidelines ahead of Assam SI exam tomorrow: Get details here

Candidate violating the rules and regulations would be barred from appearing examination and his/her candidature shall be rejected

Guwahati: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) Assam on Saturday has issued guidelines for the aspirants of the Sub-Inspector written examination on November 22

Given below are the guidelines:

1. Candidates have to report at the entrance of the examination venue a minimum of 2'/2 hours (two and a half hours) before the starting time of the examination, i.e they must report by 9.30 am.

2. Only candidates would be allowed to enter the examination venue. No parents/guardians of the candidates will be allowed to enter the campus of the examination venue.

3. Only the following items are allowed in the examination hall:

Original copy of any one of the documents as 'Identity proof'

Self-attested photocopy of the Identity Proof.

3(three) ballpoint pens (black), 1 (one) pencil, eraser, face mask, spectacles (if used by the candidate) admit card, postcard size photographs.

Candidates must not bring any mobile phone, smartwatch, calculator, handbags, and ornaments, or any other electronic gadgets to the test venue.

The guideline further added that "Anyone found carrying these items would be barred from appearing in the written test and his/her candidature shall be rejected. Moreover, legal action would be initiated against the candidate violating the above x mentioned rules and regulations."

The SI recruitment exam was earlier held on September 20. The exams had to be cancelled after the question paper was leaked on social media 15 minutes after the commencement of the exam. Around 66,000 candidates sat for the examination.

The re-examination is being held on November 22 and the admits cards have been released for the test. Candidates can download the admit cards on slprbassam.in.

The timing for the examination is from 12 pm to 2 pm.
