SARUPATHAR: Sneha Saikia, daughter of Tridip Saikia, a school bus driver of Sneha's school, and Swapna Saikia, a homemaker, has secured 99 per cent, 594 marks in this year's High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA). She has also got letter marks in all the subjects.
"I am very happy with my result, I am indebted to my parents, teachers, friends, our principal of Dayanand Vidya Niketan, and neighbours who helped me in my studies. I want to study science at Sarupathar Higher Secondary School and become a good doctor," Sneha said.
Expressing happiness, her father said: "I am very proud of my daughter. She has worked very hard for this day." MLA of 94 Sarupathar Constituency Biswajit Phukan appreciated Shena's effort and wished her luck for her future studies. The MLA also announced Rs 5 lakh donation for infrastructural development to encourage the teachers and students of the school.
