Social activist Dhanbor Moran passes away in Doomdooma

Dhanbor Moran, a social activist and a popular and pious person of Daisa Balijan village, near here, breathed his last recently at his residence.

DOOMDOOMA : Dhanbor Moran, a social activist and a popular and pious person of Daisa Balijan village, near here, breathed his last recently at his residence. He was 80 and was suffering from hypertension.

Father of journalist and executive member of Doomdooma Press Club, Pradip Kumar Moran, Dhanbor Moran was associated with various social and religious organizations of Daisa Balijan area. He inspired his son Pradip Moran to work selflessly as a founder headmaster of a venture Girls' ME School, Kordoiguri instead of seeking job elsewhere. He leaves behind a son, three daughters, besides a host of relatives. His wife predeceased him two years ago. His death cast a pall of gloom in the region and was condoled by Doomdooma Press Club, Tinsukia District Journalists Association and several other organizations.
