Social activist Niron Baruah passes away in Lakhimpur

Teacher and youth social activist, Niron Baruah breathed his last at around 10:26 pm on Friday night at his own house.

LAKHIMPUR: Teacher and youth social activist, Niron Baruah breathed his last at around 10:26 pm on Friday night at his own house. He was a resident of the Panigaon-Kharkati Road area. He was 41.

He leaves behind his mother, wife, two elder brothers along with a host of relatives.

Niron Baruah served as a teacher at the Basanta Borah LP School. He was popular across the larger Panigaon area under southern Lakhimpur for his amiable behaviour and altruistic attitude. He always stood by the needy people. He was involved in various social activities and was associated with several institutions and organizations.

He was suffering from multiple health problems during the last two months. His immature demise has cast a pall of gloom in the entire Panigaon area.

All have condoled the demise of Niron Baruah and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
