LAKHIMPUR: Nawa Bihan Samaj (NBS), a social organization, distributed food items among 74 poor families living under Koilamari Tea Estate of Lakhimpur district who have been adversely affected by the ongoing lockdown process.
Nawa Bihan Samaj undertook the relief drive with the financial support extended by NAZDEEK, a Delhi based social organization, in collaboration with All Adivasi Women Association of Assam (AAWAA) and All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam (AASAA). The package of relief items contained 10 kg rice, 3 kg dal, one litre mustard oil along with soyabean, salt, potato and soap.
