DHEKIAJULI: In demands of solving the flood and erosion problems of Assam, Sonitpur District Unit of All Minority Students' Union ( AMSU ) on Monday submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through the Dhekiajuli Sub Post Office on Monday. The memorandum was signed by Rahmat Ansary, president Sukur Ali, secretary, AMSU Sonitpur District Unit. The memorandum states that the problems of flood and erosion of Assam should be declared as the national problem and proper remedial measures should be taken against this vexed problems. It was also mentioned in the memorandum that the flood in Assam damages lives and properties of thousands of people living in the river side of Assam every year. Adequate relief and rehabilit ation me asures for the flood and erosion effected people should be taken immediately the memorandum stated.
