JAMUGURIHAT: Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika formally inaugurated the construction work of the link road connecting Rangachakuwa and Soibari that connects the vast area with the national highway 15. The road was constructed uner the erstwhile project of Chief Minister's special package for construction of roads under SOPD (State Owned Priority Development) scheme. Addressing the gathering, MLA Hazarika briefed about various developmental schemes undertaken by the State government. He also said that under the mega project of CM's special package, all village roads and links roads will be developed and redesigned using latest technology. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Ajit Kumar Medhi, executive engineer of Sootea Roads Division, Abdul Hannan, assistant engineer, Kishor Dahal, ZPC member, Dipak Newar, panchayat president of Uttar Muradol GP along with others.
