BONGAIGAON: In view of the forthcoming Assam Assembly Election, Deputy Commissioner of Bongaigaon, Dr. MS Lakshmi Priya inaugurated a special COVID-19 drive at Bongaigaon Primary Health Centre on Sunday to combat coronavirus pandemic.
After inauguration, she also took second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. This drive will continue up to March 23 from 10 am to 4 pm in 33 health centres for all the senior citizens of above 60 years and people of 45 to 59 years of age with co-morbidities. In this inauguration programme, Joint Director of Health Services, Bongaigaon, Dr. Nil Madhav Das and Dr. N. Islam, doctor of Bongaigaon PHE, along with other doctors, nurses, employees of the PHE and senior citizens were present.
