TEZPUR: A special vaccination drive for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) was organized jointly by the district administration, Social Welfare department along with First Hope NGO at Netaji Vidyamandir, Dhekiajuli.
The special vaccination programme was formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das in presence of ADC Dyotiva Bora, SDM&HO and other officials of the district administration. He also inaugurated a mobile vaccination van on the occasion. The drive was held under the supervision of the Additional Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr Phani Pathak and DIO, Dr Biman Sharma. Nearly 60 persons received vaccines at this special camp.
