LAKHIMPUR: "Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva transformed the gross psychology of the society with the realistic view of his spiritual philosophy. His spiritual philosophy is nothing but the philosophy of transformation which uplift the human values and lead the human beings towards the attainment of divine qualities to create a world free of hatred and violence, full of peace, progress and bliss," stated Ranjit Kakati, a spiritual speaker-cum-writer and journalist, in Lakhimpur while taking part as appointed speaker in the 'Dharmalosana Sabha' organized in connection with the celebration of the 574th Abirbhav Tithi of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev by Bosagaon Gyanoday Yuva Chatra Parishad.

The Dharmalosana Sabha commenced with Sishil Hazarika, the president of Gyanoday Yuva Chatra Parishad, in the chair. It was inaugurated by Saurabh Das, the central committee assistant general secretary of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad, who delivered lecture on Sankardev's tremendous contribution in integrating the indigenous communities living in the entire Northeast region.

In the programme, appointed speaker Ranjit Kakati, while delivering his lecture on the 'Spiritual Philosophy of Srimanta Sankardev and its psychological aspects', further stated, "Religion loses its all qualities of holding the existence of the society, unless it is established with a strong foundation of science and philosophy. In such condition religion cannot do well for the people but leads them towards deterioration and fall. Keeping this in his view, 'Gurujona', through his spiritual philosophy, aimed at upgrading the moral and ethical standard of the people, irrespective of their caste and creed, by advocating the popular, easy path of Bhakti, that is pure devotion. He accepted a realistic view of the world. He visualised the philosophy of mankind with progressive ideology 500 years ago."
