Student killed in road mishap at Nagrijuli Amar Chowk in Baksa

One student was killed in a road mishap on Monday at around 2.00 PM at Nagrijuli Amar Chowk under Tamulpur subdivision in the district of Baksa.

Baksa: One student was killed in a road mishap on Monday at around 2.00 PM at Nagrijuli Amar Chowk under Tamulpur subdivision in the district of Baksa.

The deceased student was identified as Arjun Darjee (13) of Amar Chowk, who was a student of Class VII of Bholajhar ME School. An Alto car bearing registration number (AS-14-E-8220) was going towards Bogamati from Barama. When the car reached Amar Chowk, the car collided with the bicycle which Arjun Darjee was riding. He was coming from Bholajhar towards Amar Chowk. Arjun was seriously injured in the accident. Local people took him to Tamulpur PHC where he was declared dead by doctors. A team of police from Nagrijuli Police Outpost rushed to the spot and seized the vehicle. A case has been registered in Tamulpur Police Station and investigation is underway.
