'Students should fix goals and work hard to achieve them'

TANGLA: In recent years, students from villages and small towns who have pursued their high school and higher secondary education from small institutes, have cracked various competitive examinations and made it into medical and engineering colleges.

This was the observation made by Principal of Arunodoi Junior College, Dr. Pranbajyoti Das at Tangla town in Udalguri district on Thursday. Addressing a special felicitation event where four students of the college- Bhargab Kachari and Ratan Boro who cleared the JEE Advance 2020 and JEE Mains 2020 respectively, Suraj Das who cleared NEET 2020 and Sansri Narzary who cleared both NEET 2020 and JEE Mains 2020 - were feted. He exhorted the students to fix their goals and work hard with dedication to achieve them. The meeting was chaired by educationist Lakhi Kanta Ramchiary and graced as special guest by journalist Shajid Khan where he deliberated on the need for students to pursue interest-based career.
