JAMUGURIHAT: Like other parts of the State, the contractual TET teachers of LP schools staged protest in front of the office of Block Elementary Education Office (BEEO), Jamugurihat on Wednesday. The demonstration convened by the Naduar Block Committee of All Assam TET Qualified LP Teachers Association was staged for two hours in front of the BEEO office located at Madhab Gaon. The demonstrators shouted slogans in favour of their charter demands such as regularization of jobs, service security and appealed to the State government to rethink over the recent decision undertaken by the government regarding regularization of the jobs of TET qualified LP teachers throughout the State. At the end of the demonstration, the protesters had submitted a memorandum to the State government through the BEEO.
