DHUBRI: The Humanity, a non-governmental organization of Dhubri,was awarded recently in Hrishikesh of Uttarakhand for its blood donation services for the last several years.
In last few years, The Humanity received a series national award for its blood donation and this award was dedicated to all the members as it was not possible without their cooperation. In 2020, Utkal Raktavir Samman 2020 was conferred to The Humanity for rendering services in the field of blood donation in Dhubri district in particular and other parts of Assam, by Samarpan National Blood Donors Conclave 2020 at Gopabandhu Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya at Puri of Odisha.
Founder of The Humanity, Sudip Kumar Kundu informed that he had attended a voluntary blood donation camp organized by Mission Vandemataram Trust at Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. “I was felicitated by Mission Vandemataram Trust while Deepak Panghal and his team of Mission Vandemataram Trust were felicitated by The Humanity with Assamese phulam gamosa today,” Kundu informed over phone.
