GUWAHATI: Awarded with Young Adult Author of the year 2022 title Taposhree Baruah launched her second book ‘The Mind’ at Guwahati Press Club in the presence of Abu Sufian, Utpal Dutta and other dignitaries. Within 3 days of release author Taposhree Baruah’s second book ‘The Mind’ was ranked 2nd in the bestseller list on Amazon.
With the launch of her second book, Taposhree Baruah is also launching the ‘Read for Social Cause Move-ment’ to give her global communication of readers a chance to serve a social cause with their every read, starting with ‘The Mind’ Taposhree Baruah will donate her entire author royalties to an Animal Shelter Home and Welfare Organisation named ‘Street Animal Welfare’. To mark the beginning of this movement on the book launch event Taposhree Baruah also handed over a cheque to SAW to support them with their cause.
At such a young age it is notable to mention that Taposhree Baruah is an India book of record holder who has set a nationwide record making her youngest author of India to achieve this feat. The prestigious Asia Book of rec-ords also recently titled her with the title of ‘Grand Master’ for penning various English motivational quotes in a single book making her the first youngest author to achieve this feat in entire Asia.
