DEMOW: Thirteen people tested positive for COVID-19 in Demow and its surrounding areas on Monday. According to sources, 13 people went for a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at Demow Model Hospital Screening Centre on Monday and they tested positive for COVID-19. Among the 13 COVID-19 positive people, nine people were shifted to the hospital and four people opted for home isolation, said sources. On the other hand, Dr SJ Taye, a gynecologist of Demow Model Hospital, went for a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at Demow Model Hospital Screening Centre on September 12 and he tested positive for COVID-19 and is under home isolation now, said a source. While the number of COVID cases is increasing every day in Demow, people are still not adhering to safety guidelines like wearing masks in public places. This has become a serious concern.
